Synopsis :

Singabantu is an Afrophobia awareness video shot in the remains of a house in Rosettenville, Johannesburg, South Africa. It was burnt to the ground by disgruntled residents during service delivery protests that turned into Afrophobic attacks. The video stars a diverse group of African immigrant youth that share the daily plight they face being called “foreigners” in South Africa.

Louise Kanza is a 24-year-old DR Congolese change-maker. She's the co-founder of the Sophie A Kanza Foundation, a youth-led organisation that aims to spread active volunteerism through Pan Africanism. This was her first attempt at producing where she also wrote the script.
